Reunited Lovers

'When the celebration of the young King's eighteenth birthday began,
The colorful lanterns lit up, the musicians played,
and the villagers danced around the bonfire that was set in the middle.
While sitting on his throne, not much of a dancer,
he wondered where the princess was and looked around for her.
When suddenly, his eyes caught sight of the Princess walking towards him;
wearing an elegant mint green dress, that the village women kindly made for her,
and a crown of pink primroses on her head, that the children made for her. 
He just gazed at her, not realizing that he was standing up.
She finally reached to him with a smile. "Happy Birthday, Kevin." She says as she looks up at him.
"T-Thanks." He says, still looks at her with awe.
He then takes one of her hands and brought it close to his lips.
"You look beautiful, Princess." he smiles as he gave her a kiss on her hand.
She blushes a bit from his kiss, but then smiles. "Why Thank you."
The music was still playing and everyone, especially the couples, still danced around the bonfire.
"Come dance with me?" The princess asks him with her gentle smile.
"Um I-I, I don't…" He stammers and placing a hand behind his neck.
"Oh come on, it will be so much fun!" She giggles.
She gently takes his hands in hers and leads him to the dance floor so he could join.
He never really joins in to partying, even for his own birthday.
But now that he was with the girl he found years ago,
he joined & danced with everyone for the first time in years;
having her in his arms under the colorful lights.'


Yeah I know it needs more work & my writing sucks, but i tried. XD
So basically what I came up with is the past & present concept. Not trying to give anything away, what happens is that Kevin finds Adele lost in the forest  & helps her hind her father when they were young. And as time goes by, he finds her again as she was trying to run away from her older brother & decides to take her in since he remembers her. So through the story, he wonders if she remembers him from years ago. Well, that's gonna have to wait & see.
This was indeed a challenge, but I really enjoyed working on this. good medieval music really helps me out to set the tone up
